Raster Maps
Raster maps are pictorial data. They are in essence saved on your computer in
the same way as digital photos are. The only difference is that information is
also saved with the map image that references the map to a coordinate system.
Anquet uses raster mapping for almost all of its mapping, as these digital maps
allow Anquet to represent to the user an exact representation of paper maps.
