Pocket Anquet
Pocket Anquet installs on personal navigational devices (PND) and PDAs that
are Windows Mobile based (Pocket PC or Smartphone). It is a fully featured
navigational system that allows you to take your Anquet maps and routes with
you and then follow, create and track those routes on your maps. It makes
Anquet instantly portable.
Compatibility
The PND/PDA must either be a Window Mobile 2003/5/6 Pocket PC or
Smartphone device. To check compatibility, click
here. For a list of recommended PND devices, click
here. LiveTrack™ and VirtualGPS™ require a
signal from a Bluetooth GPS, a wired GPS unit or an in-built GPS receiver to
operate.

Map View
View your Ordnance Survey maps (and others) in superb clarity on your
Pocket PC or Smartphone. Either all or portions of the desktop maps can
be transfered to Pocket Anquet. No loss of
detail takes place and you are only limited to
the size of the storage card.

|
Anquet LiveTrack™
Anquet LiveTrack™ allows you to see your
position in real time on your OS map. You can opt for a simple location
display with a moving map or show a sequence
of points which indicate the track you have followed to reach your
current position.

Routes and Waypoints View
Browse through multiple routes and waypoints. Icons, names and colour
coding make routes easier to read. Routes and waypoints can be loaded
from your desktop Anquet or can also created
within Pocket Anquet.

|
Virtual-GPS™
Like traditional GPS units, Pocket Anquet provides route navigation
at the touch of a button. Current position,
altitude, bearing, waypoint name, direction arrow, distance to next
waypoint and distance to the end of the route can all be shown.

|
Route Statistics and Information
Information and statistics can be displayed for each route. The user
has the option to adjust the content of the screen too.

Anquet Aerial Photo Maps
Anquet Photo Maps contain superb, high definition aerial photography
which can be read like a map but which include, in stunning detail, all
the features of the landscape that conventional maps cannot show. With
Photo Maps loaded on your handheld device you will be able to see extra
detail on the ground over which your route passes.
