A Smartphone refers to a mobile phone that does a lot more than just make phone calls. Modern Smartphones not only make calls, but can also often do such tasks as take photos, receive and send emails, browse the internet, and of course use maps!

All of the major phone manufacturers now produce their own Smartphones.
