GPS Software
GPS software refers to software that exists on a PC to work with
GPS units.
A lot of GPS users use GPS software, as although the GPS devices are very good
out in the field, the screen size and fiddly controls are a major limitation to
route planning on the device itself.
Anquet is a form of GPS software, in that it allows the user to plot routes on
well known topographical mapping, and then download this data to the users GPS
unit.
Anquet also allows the user to read tracklogs back from the GPS unit to
display in Anquet to show where the user has been.
